Polyiso Pricing Remains Stable Amid Price Increase Notices
You may have heard rumors in late September and early October that manufacturers had released Polyiso insulation price increase notices. You will also notice you did not get that notice from Duro-Last®. While we too heard the rumors of widespread Polyiso price increases, we were able to act quickly with our vendors to ensure that we would not have to raise any of our prices to customers. In fact, in some states our pricing has actually decreased since the beginning of the year.
At the moment, it appears that our insulation pricing should remain stable through Quarter 1 of 2021. We are proud to have developed such strong relationships with our vendors which allow us to pass savings along to you, and we will continue to work closely with these companies to make sure that you receive the best prices possible.

Working in Insulation through Isolation
As many of you know, the Insulation Customer Service team, as well as Duro-Last’s Customer Service team as a whole, has been working from home since late March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was important to us to be able to offer customers the same level of service and support they are accustom to, and our team has transitioned seamlessly without missing a beat.
The Insulation Department holds regular Zoom meetings with each other, as well as with the entire Duro-Last Customer Service team, to keep up on our safety trainings, company happenings, and just in general to see the faces we all miss. We have even been able to train our new Insulation Customer Service Representative remotely utilizing phone calls, emails, and screen sharing. We are excited to welcome Jake Basner to the team and know that he will provide customers with the quality service that Duro-Last is known for.
