Time and labor…. two critical pieces of the “puzzle” we are almost always trying to find. Exceptional® Metals has kept you, the customer, in mind to make your life easier and put more money in your pocket!
To make it easier to quote products, Exceptional Metals launched the NuQuote system to offer a platform that would streamline the quoting process and enable you to work with us from anywhere. The software was developed specifically for the sheet metal industry and was designed by sheet metal workers. NuQuote is a web-based platform, so it works on all desktop computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
When it comes to educational opportunities, Exceptional Metals has created a series of metal roof and wall product videos. We understand that everyone’s tired of webinars and Zoom meetings, so we decided to record a series of educational modules covering many of the metal roof and wall panels we supply. Just go to the Exceptional Metals website and navigate to the “What’s New” section, where you will find a link to access the video playlist.
On the product side, Exceptional Metals has made modifications to the 2-Piece Flex Snap-On Compression regarding how it’s notched. Additionally, we’ve modified the product length to 5-foot increments, and the top angle has been adjusted as well. These changes will allow you to install this product more efficiently while giving the building an aesthetically appealing radius edge. Another exciting upgrade is the ability to have your All-Term™ ordered with factory-applied mastic. Once the base is on the jobsite, all your crew will have to do is peel off the release paper on the backside and fasten the All-Term with approved fasteners. And finally, coming very soon will be the expansion of colors for our vinyl-coated metal products. Rolling out in the next several weeks, additional vinyl-coated metal colors will include light gray, light tan, blue, charcoal, patina, green, and midnight bronze. Please keep an eye out for future updates on these products as we head into the spring.
Finally, Exceptional Metals has increased its support staff and added another full-time estimator. Josh Hetzner is no stranger to metal and brings that experience from Duro-Last to the Exceptional Metals team. Having worked in manufacturing, Josh has an increased knowledge of the capabilities of creating custom edge details. In addition, Josh has spent time working directly with customers, creating and estimating custom metal details from an engineering services standpoint.
